Trade Compliance Manager

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Trade Compliance Manager to oversee and manage import and export compliance activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that international trade transactions comply with applicable customs regulations, trade laws, documentation requirements, and company policies. Key Responsibilities * Manage and oversee import and export trade compliance activities. * Ensure compliance with applicable customs laws, import/export regulations, and international trade requirements. * Review and verify import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs documents. * Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping companies, suppliers, and internal teams. * Monitor customs clearance activities and resolve compliance-related issues. * Review product classifications, HS codes, customs duties, and applicable trade requirements. * Ensure accurate and timely submission of customs and trade documentation. * Develop and maintain internal trade compliance procedures and guidelines. * Conduct regular reviews of import/export transactions to identify potential compliance risks. * Maintain accurate records of trade transactions and compliance documentation. * Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, trade policies, import/export requirements, and international trade practices. * Identify and mitigate potential risks related to customs, sanctions, restricted goods, and international trade. * Train and guide employees on trade compliance procedures and documentation requirements. * Prepare compliance reports and provide recommendations to management. * Work closely with logistics, procurement, finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth and compliant international trade operations. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field. * Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation. * Knowledge of HS codes, customs duties, trade documentation, and international shipping processes. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. * Good knowledge of MS Excel and trade documentation systems. * Ability to manage multiple compliance activities and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. * Strong attention to detail and ability to identify compliance risks.
